WASHBURN RENOVATION
This beloved family home had a history of many young families trying to make it work for them. What it really needed was a thoughtful update to every space in the home to make it last for the whole arc of life. All three levels of the home were renovated to create highly functional spaces, including a basement rec area, home office, bike room, the main floor encouraging gathering and hanging out, a second level with a proper owner’s suite, and a separate children’s bath. Memorable moments in the home, such as the slat walls at the front and back entries, the hallway reading nook, and bench seating at the dining table, make this home live largely and live beautifully.
