This beautiful, historic King’s Highway home had a basement that needed a lot of love, an owner’s suite that was dated and inefficient, and an entry way that needed a functionally beautiful solution for circulation. The renovations included collaborating with Sara M. Brown Interior Design, and general contractor, House Dressing Company. The client’s enjoy entertaining and needed wine storage in the basement, we also repurposed various basement rooms to include a dog grooming space, and multifunctional laundry to support home brewing and seed starting for the owner’s vegetable garden. The owner’s suite renovation included creating a more luxurious bathroom with a full sized shower, updated vanity, new walk-in closet, new fireplace and bookcases with a relocated window and window seat to better capture views of Lake Calhoun. The decor of all the spaces was beautifully updated to tie the historic elements of the home in with an updated and fresh aesthetic.
